Known for working closely with homeowners, as well as builders, architects and designers, Filament creates dynamic lighting solutions for both rural or urban environments. "We do projects for townhouses, farmhouses, city lofts, bistros and salons," comments owner Todd Pearsall. "We use lighting to make small spaces seem larger, and larger spaces feel more intimate. We put together layering effects to create a mood that is ambient, yet functional." For this he mentions his approach to illuminating a dining room by using cove lighting around the perimeter of the room, as well as recessed lights, sconces and a chandelier.
